Upcoming Special Events and Outings Programme


Places to be visited include Wroxham Barns, the Highways Nurseries and Gressenhall Museum.

Thursday 12 November Highways Nurseries at Framlingham Pigot just outside of Norwich. An opportunity for a wander around the autumn plants, hobbies, crafts, aquatics and bulbs. They are advertising musical entertainment with Johny Cleveland 11.30 to 3PM and there is a coffee shop and Restaurant: £4.00 return fare.

Friday 20 November Wroxham and Wroxham Barns a firm favourite as you may choose to go to the barns where there is an excellent tea rooms and small craft units or stay in Wroxham and Hoveton village and stroll around: £6 return fare.

Sunday 06 December Gressenhall Museum is offering a Christmas Experience Past and Present. There will be Christmas food, Santa in his Grotto, singing to join in with in the Chapel, Bell Ringers, a Magic Lantern Show: £6.00 return fare plus your entrance fee of £6.20 for concessions

Saturday 28 November Quiz and Chips St Andrews Church Hall Thorpe Brenda James Close. Teams and tables of six bring your own cutlery and condiments please. Entry is £6.50 each includes supper. Transport plus £2.00 return.
