Donate & More

Many people do not have the time or physical ability to be a “hands on” physical volunteer, but you can still help by making a donation.  It costs a lot to operate  and maintain the resources needed for a Dial A Ride service, even though we are lean and mean and keep our overheads to a minimum.  We rely on being able to generate extra income each year so that we can organise our Spring, Summer and Autumn trips programme where we take our passengers all over Norfolk and Suffolk to visit the coast and country.  We even venture on to the river where there are many accessible boats now in operation. We are also currently saving for a new bus to help us meet the ever increasing demand for our service. There are so many ways you can help, and however much you give, you can be sure it will be put to good use.

£10 would pay for the subsidized cost of a passenger journey

£60 would pay for a volunteer to attend a first aid course

£300 would pay for training, uniforms and safety wear for a new volunteer

£500 would pay for two sets of wheelchair restraints

£1,300 would pay for the insurance of one bus for a year

£9,000 would pay our annual insurance for our fleet of buses as well as our public liability insurance

£14,000 would pay for the maintenance of our fleet for a year

£25,000 would provide the fuel for our fleet of buses to run for one year

If you are a business or local company you may consider contributing towards a specific project:

The cost of maintaining the vehicles including the lifts and the equipment

Web-site costs

The cost of our Insurance Premiums

Contribution to payment of volunteers’ “out of pocket” expenses

Weekly fuel costs
